Walking
The area is part of England's most tranquil and inspiring National Park.
West Woodburn is also in close proximity to Kielder Water and Forest Park, and also lies near to Hadrian's Wall and lies a direct 15 miles from the Scottish Border.
There are many beautiful walks in the area for walkers of all abilities, be it a short stroll along the banks of the river Rede or for the more adventurous we are on the edge of the Northumberland National Park and also close to the Pennine Way and the rolling Cheviot Hills.
Information on local walks will be available from your lodge.
